On Saturday we entered Ryde Illuminated Carnival. This was the last carnival that will we enter this year. What a fantastic way to finish of the carnival season. We are delighted to announce that we won second prize and we were also awarded the Bestival best fancy dress award.
We pulled out all the stops for this carnival and constructed a car for the 'Cat in the Hat' to drive. We also made the toy box that Thing 1 and Thing 2 jump out off. All of the costumes looked amazing and we are ecstatic that all our hard work has been recognised. Thank you to Gina for making the 'Cat in the Hat' and for decorating the float with paintings of scenes from the book.
Thank you to the Cluitt family for supplying us will the lights for the float they looked fantastic. A big thank you again to everyone who took part in this years carnival entry and to everyone who watched and supported us. We hope to see you all again next year. We will have to think of what we can do to make next years entry even better"
